The Royal Illustrator of Oz

Forever associated with the Oz books is John R. Neill, and deservedly so, having dedicated so much of his life to them. But he also brought his magic to other projects.

The ever wonderful Illustration magazine published a lovely article on the man and his work in the summer '06 issue. If you haven't seen it, you should. These are a few of the illustrations used in that article:

Thom - these are fabulous. Thanks so much for posting these. We have Images
issues 1 through 6 but that's it. I can see that I really need to get caught up.
